Director of Clinical Services

We are seeking a Director of Clinical Services to join a specialist hospital in Dewsbury. This 32-bed locked service supports two distinct service user groups:

• Ward A- (16 beds) focuses on the rehabilitation of men with mental health conditions, working towards stabilisation, risk reduction, and community reintegration.
• Ward B (16 beds) supports men with dementia and behaviours that challenge.

As part of the Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will lead a team of two ward managers and be accountable for all clinical aspects of the hospital. They will also deputise for the Hospital Director when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical and therapeutic care.
• Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
• Contribute to the hospital’s strategic development.
• Provide operational and clinical leadership to the wider staff team.
• Drive continuous improvement and service excellence.

Requirements:

• RMN Registered with experience in mental health and Dementia.
• 4-5 years management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to maintain compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
• IT competency.
• High levels of maths and English proficiency.
• Self-motivated and driven to deliver exceptional care.
